The South Carolina Seismic Network operates under two funding sources. First, a Cooperative Agreement with the USGS supports the operation of 6 stations in the Charleston/Summerville region and 3 stations elsewhere in the state. Second, the Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, through SCUREF, supports the operation of 3 stations in the Upstate. A current station map illustrates the network.

Earthquakes in the region are located and published in the USGS Earthquake Catalog in conjunction with CERI at the University of Memphis. Displayed below are earthquakes in the last year in and near South Carolina, including parts of Georgia and North Carolina.
